Overview[]
The AMP (Advanced Machine Pistol) is a family of PPF Submachine guns (NOT PDWs) designed for accuracy, compactness and overwhelming firepower. The guns can be easily recognized by their in-grip magazines and phosphorescent lines on the grips. The modularity of the weapons is amazing: by switching out the mag and/or barrel, the weapon can switch caliber, change the length of both the barrel and the RIS or add an integrated suppressor. The stock can be either telescoping, solid or a pistol-brace, there is also an option to have no stock. The mag release is a button on the pistol grip. The stockless, short-barreled version of the gun is often used by U.S. Army tank crews since it is compact and extremely powerful. This gun is chambered in 9mm, .356 SIG, 10mm, .45 ACP and... 7.62x25mm Tokarev!? Oh, and the phosphor lines are not just aesthetic. They're used to identify allies during skirmishes. To prevent an enemy from using a stolen AMP to their advantage, the phosphor is re-energized every day.

2016 Los Angeles shootout[]
Daniel Phoenix' own AMP, used against the criminal
In 2016, a criminal armed with a 12-gauge shotgun attacked a cinema in Los Angeles that Daniel Phoenix just happened to attend. The building was a gun-free zone (and was located in California, a state where most self-defense capable weapons are prohibited), but Phoenix brought his AMP anyway. That decision saved his life; the criminal entered the building and fired his shotgun in an attempt to kill as many people as possible, but the CEO of PPF pulled out his weapon and emptied his quadstacked mag into the killer. He then came under heavy fire from the Democrat media, and his Board of Directors almost locked him out under pressure from officials. However, this act stimulated the Gun Rights movement and boosted the movement's power in the Congress.
