Kaizen 2 Mode Pistol Compact is a compact, blowback, 9mm variation of the Kaizen 2MP machine pistol. Heavily inspired from the Intratec TEC-9 and the Skorpion pistols, it uses a front loading design, unlike a traditional handgun, where the grip doubles as a magazine well. The (Skorpion style) safety lever and (non reciprocating TEC-9 style) charging handle are located on the left side. Both the main and civilian versions fire from a closed bolt, with the civilian variation being semi-auto only. Weights were inserted into the grip to make the firearm less nose heavy due to the magazine, these can be removed/replaced if desired. A feature rather rare these days is the barrel shroud.
