The AMG-1 is a SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) made by Accurafire Manufacturing Company and the first weapon in Accurafire's AMG (Accurafire Machine Gun) series. It comes with an ACOG TA31 4x32 scope, along with Troy Folding Sights. It also comes with a folding bipod and a VC-301 compensator. It was made to be a machine gun that can shoot enemies very accurately as if you were shooting a DMR or sniper rifle, and also be able to lay down support/covering fire and suppress hostiles like a regular SAW. It was made to replace the M249 SAW in the U.S. Armed Forces and be a competitor to the M27 IAR.
